Judging by the talk on the Discord server – no, they're not :(
PrusaSlicer drives the Prusa XL, so any problems with driving a toolchanger much have been addressed.
The big – actually huge – reason to use PrusaSlicer is the painting – being able to paint colours onto your model in the slicer is a game-changer.
Shouldn't this be done with the heatbed back at 100C?
I'm left wondering what the end of the printer.cfg file should look like. For me, it all looks to be commented out. Is that right? Are they special comments, the ones starting with #*#, that are read by something? End of file looks like this:
[input_shaper]
#shaper_type_x = ei
#shaper_freq_x = 50
#shaper_type_y = zv
#shaper_freq_y = 55.5
#*# <---------------------- SAVE_CONFIG ---------------------->
#*# DO NOT EDIT THIS BLOCK OR BELOW. The contents are auto-generated.
#*#
#*# [input_shaper]
#*# shaper_type_x = ei
#*# shaper_freq_x = 46.8
#*# shaper_type_y = 2hump_ei
#*# shaper_freq_y = 40.8
For me at least, on a Mac, the board doesn't so much auto-eject as just disconnect, so you get an error telling you off for removing the device without first ejecting, which you can ignore.
I had an error that relative_reference_index is no longer valid in the bed mesh section of the printer.cfg file, so I've commented it out – hope that is the right thing to do. Googling tells me it was deprecated for a while, but now its gone completely and so causes an error which stops Klipper from starting up.
Take care you've picked up the USB C plug – the Micro HDMI looks v. similar.
...and you didn't pack me a 3D printed case. I'll print one – assuming I can find the STL. It won't be colour matched to the rest of the printer though, which is a shame :(
I'm going to assume the front, as that's the first one you say to build. It would be helpful if you said explicitly which is 0 so we can be sure.
Which one is print head 0? Nearest the front? Nearest the back? Why on earth don't you say? I guess I dig back through the instructions and hope it says somewhere :(
