The ProForge 300 kit ships in a single box with three foam layers.
-
You can find the complete list of components here.
-
-
-
Upon opening the box you should find the top layer of foam containing the following:
-
Extruders and Tool Boards (Depending on the number you've ordered)
-
Touch Screen (Upgrade)
-
Enclosure Parts (Upgrade)
-
Under the top layer will be the enclosure panels.
-
-
-
The middle layer should contain the following:
-
Platform, bed heater, flexplate and magnetic sticker.
-
Under these are the PSU's and Z-Motors
-
Control board, BTT Pi and Eddy Bed Scanner.
-
Gantry Motors, Cooling Hose and USB Hub.
-
-
-
The Bottom layer will have the Base and after lifting it up you should find:
-
Extrusions, Lead Screws, Rails, Dock Bracket, 4 extrusion covers and 6 component bags.
-
-
-
Included:
-
The Kit comes with a set of Allen keys, cable ties and thread lock.
-
Also Needed:
-
A Philips screw driver, a small flat head screw driver, pliers, a measuring tape and a lighter.
-
A thick lithium based grease for longevity of the tool changing mechanism. And liquid machine lubricant for the rails.
-
If you are building with a regular SO3 print head (non-REVO) then you will also need a 7mm and 8mm spanner for hot tightening the nozzle.
-
Recommended:
-
The kit includes a basic set of Allen keys, but we recommend picking up a set of high quality Allen keys for your build, we recommend the brand name Wera.
-
-
-
-
Current issues we're aware of:
-
Some people may be missing an M5 x 20mm Button Head Bolt for use with the Nozzle Calibration Probe. One should be easy to source from a hardware store.
