    • PC4-M5 Coupling (x3)

    • M5 Nut (x3)

    • Blue precision PTFE tubing - 20cm

    • Regular PTFE Tubing - 80cm (Note, the including tubing will be white, we're using black here to make it easier to see against the backdrop.)

    • Splitter screws (x4)

    • Low profile couplings, these were originally included with the kit but we recommend using the larger PC4-M5 couplings instead.

  2. Place into position the three M5 nuts into the back face of the splitter. Then sandwich the nuts in place by fixing on the front face with the four small screws.

  3. Using a craft knife, cut two 35CM lengths of the regular white PTFE tubing. With the left over white tubing cut three 1cm lengths. When cutting, use a craft knife and make sure that the cut is as flat as possible.

  4. Push the three pieces of tubing into the openings on the splitter like shown. Make sure they are pushed all of the way down.

  5. With the tubes inserted you can now fix the couplings onto the nuts.
    • With the tubes inserted you can now fix the couplings onto the nuts.

    • You may find the coupling not being able to catch the thread of the nut, in that case trim the small ptfe tubes further until you are able to get the thread to catch.

    • You shouldn't need to trim more than 1-2mm at most. Bare in mind that the end of the coupling should press the tubing into the splitter.

  6. Cut 9CM of the blue precision PTFE tubing. Again, when cutting, use a craft knife and make sure that the cut is as flat as possible.
    • Cut 9CM of the blue precision PTFE tubing.

    • Again, when cutting, use a craft knife and make sure that the cut is as flat as possible.

  7. Insert the 9CM PTFE tube into the bottom of the splitter. Push the other end of the tubing into the hotend, it should go all the way down to the nozzle. (approx 6cm in)

  8. Fix the PTFE tubings into the couplings on the extruders. Fix the other sides into the splitter. Make sure that the left extruder is feeding into the left side of the splitter and vice versa.
    • Fix the PTFE tubings into the couplings on the extruders.

    • Make sure that the left extruder is feeding into the left side of the splitter and vice versa.
