Stage 05: Print Head

This guide is from the ProForge 300, however the process is the same - with 4 print heads instead of 3.

See the next step about the cable support guide.

Discard the shorter cable guide you may have found in the print head accessory bag.

Instead use the longer cable guide included in the kit.

Cut the wider side off.

Line it up with the bracket and use a file or knife to create notches for the cable tie to go into.

The USB cable for the Orbiter v3 is 1.5M and will stop short of entering the base. Continue wiring as shown in the diagram but with the small USB power board outside of the base.

Use some of the braided cable sleeving to cover the control board.
