  1. Before installing the Switching Hotend you may find it useful to have a CAD model of it. You can find a STEP file of the DSH from the link below:

    • The kit does not come with extruders. The hotend is Bowden type so you will need your own Bowden style extruders.

    • The DSH fixes onto your gantry by 4 M3 bolts spaced 31mm apart from each other. This is the same hole spacing found on NEMA 17 motors.

    • If your printers gantry is a piece of 2020 aluminium extrusion you may be able to use the Proforge 2S tool carriage, available for separate purchase here.
