With the tubes inserted you can now fix the couplings onto the nuts.

You may find the coupling not being able to catch the thread of the nut, in that case trim the small ptfe tubes further until you are able to get the thread to catch.

You shouldn't need to trim more than 1-2mm at most. Bare in mind that the end of the coupling should press the tubing into the splitter.
