In the G-Code of your print
Add the command: M106 P2 to activate at the beginning to start it
Then add : M107 P2 at the end to stop it.
I suppose you can do it manually before the print starts and ends, or you can put it in as a command for the printer .
The fan wire in my kit has 2 bare wires at the end, no connector for the board.
Is the switch spring loaded, meaning if pushed in, will it come back out with additional pressure ? Or does it only pop out if the printer is powered ?
For those of us where the 3.5 kit hot end thermistor has only bear wires, an alternate solution is to put a piece of shrink tubing on each of the two ends, then wire together the separate thermistor wires. to the bear wires. Slide the tubing over the connection, heat with a hair dryer and you have a permanent connection. A more elegant solution to the problem.
The M4 6mm is too short for the T nut to grab and will not work, use an M4 10mm bolt
On the kit I received (late 2022) this part is now aluminum and is machined for M2.5 cap screws. An M3 will not work. The are 2 M2.5 6mm cap screws in one of the bags that will work
Building the Proforge 3.5 and skiiping the steps as suggested this now seems confusing. Iit appears that I should have constructed other parts of the gantry that I had not done.
