Also I had to completely undo the camera cable so that I could feed it through the base hole small end first. The USB-A plug won't go through the hole in the base. This should have been mentioned way back when the camera was being installed.
All of the gantry cables should be routed and fed through the holes in the base BEFORE even mentioning the base wiring or the control board. That way all of the cable routing for the top side can be completed before placing the printer on its back side ready for base wiring. It's much easier to do the top side cable routing with the printer right side up than lying down.
I inserted the hex key into the grub screw first, then fed it into the hole while on the end of the key. Worked great.
3 wire wrap pins can be used here. Just stick them into the female connectors of both sides.
At this point, in my kit, there no more M3x8 cap screws, nor any M3x10. I'm using my own hardware store stock of M3x10s. Hope there are no interference issues down the road from this.
@#$%. You didn't say that the bolts went through the rubber feet. There are no cutouts in the base. The cutouts are in the feet.
The M6x75s bottom out, all of them, at about 25 mm in. Replaced with M6x25 bolts that I have already. Also, the previous work assembling the frame has to be selectively loosened so that it can be rubber malloted to fit the M6 holes in the base.
There are no M6x75 bolts that I can find. Bolts have hex heads. These are all button heads.
