I have printed a 18mm spacer (with 3.5mm holes - 9.5mm apart) to place between the frame and the microswitch, attached using M2.5 30mm screws (instead of M25 12mm). Problem fixed. The gantry can now touch and trigger the Y endstop
The y endstop cannot be triggered as the carriage bumps into the frame before the gantry gets close to the microswitch.
What have I done wrong ?
The lower belt keep on jumping when the carriage is moved.
I will be replacing the besting/washers assemblies with proper flanged idlers. Any reasons mot too ? Or changes to apply ?
