That was useful to know. As a consequence I connected all 4 standoffs to the pi first and subsequently inserted and tightened the 3 unobstructed bolts to the case. (ie not the lower Left Hand one in the picture above)
The Standoffs are 25mm not 10mm! If you use 10mm ones the micro USB & HDMI connectors are obstructed. (the 25mm standoffs were bagged separately)
No the RCA output on the Pi 1B fouls the side
will a Pi 1B work? (I plan to connect via ethernet in any case)
after the X and Y homing the probe will not be over the Flexplate.
Need to move nozzles back towards the centre ( X & Y) by hand so the probe can be checked and adjusted
The SD card should be oriented with the microSD Card towards the RHS of the case
If building the Dual Switching Extender, the single Hotend Mount (see step 2 below) is not used!
I expected from the commentary to have various fixings etc left over, was a little concerned to have a piece of shaped metal left…
Yes there is a part of stage 8 which steps into the DSE specifics…
Would have been easier to check and insert jumpers at step 8
Better fit if the inside edges (ie two touching) are trimmed
